It is not even considered yet and I don't think it will ever be considered. That amendment includes not only schedule A but also others and with proposal to increase the number as well.

Hi Folks-
We (5 People) work for IBM company, SFO, today we went personally to the congress men and we submit the letter which is provided in this forum and after that we called state senator office and we explained about our problem. We faxed and email the letter to the senator office, staff had taken my contact details and they told me that they will inform the solution in 2days.

Best thing would be to apply for EAD/AP about 6 months from now because bulk of the new workload will be concentrated in June, July and August filings and it might take 5-6 months for all of them to get EADs. same thing when time comes for renewals.
If someone applies EAD/AP 6 months from now, chances are he/she will be able to avoid the crowd and get it in 3 months.
It''s like leaving at 5PM and spending 3 hours in traffic

I have been on a monthly contributions program that contributes every month to IV since JAN 2007. If this effort requires the money now, is there a way I can divert the monthly to this effort for the next 3 months. Or should I cancel my monthly contribution and just donate a lump sum for this effort?

For all those who are upset with the House hearing, please take it easy. Please do not expect the hearing to discuss the details of each and every GC applicant's case. The objective of the hearing was to bring the folks involved in visa bulletins and GC processing, and make them all publically say and agree that Lofgren-Sensenbrenner bill will not flood the country with new people on the borders but at the same time since the federal agencies did not do their job properly, so it would make sense to recapture the visa numbers, and that's it.
I think that this objective was achieved pretty handsomely without much opposition. So everybody was on the same page, other than Ranking member King, whose job in such meetings is to oppose whatever the committee chair is proposing. Rep. King did not have much to say as Rep. Sensenbrenner has co-sponsored the bill. Noticeably, Rep. Gutierrez supported the bill, which means Hispanic Caucus may not oppose it either, hopefully. So it was all good.
Hope this comes true.

Just to summarize what's going to happen with VB in final Quarter.
Two words: Nothing Positive
CIS and DOS officials are meeting every week after July 07 fiasco. They have a better handle on the visa number utilization than they ever had in the past years. As a result they have max utilization of visa numbers and don't be surprised if DOS decides to move EB2 India and China a month or two back. Neither India EB2 nor China EB2 is going to move past Oct 2004 before Oct 08 bulletin.

can you please suggest accountant, if its ok with you, residing any place is fine as we deal most of it through ph, having tough time to find the right one just to aid in the start up and maintain min. proceedings like tax filing etc. without having any activity/revenue
