Can anyone outline the advantages/disadvantages of Sole Proprietorship vs. LLC for a single individual who plans to provide website designing/development services for companies in/outside US?

Sorry about the pain. if you haven't noticed, I think aftr your previous employer revoked the I-140, they went ahead and updated that to 'denied' status and apparently the date did not change. so the same day that your 140 was approved now shows as denied. Bring that to their notice and they may see their mistake.

I applied 485 on July 25th,2007. Now can i travel outside of USA, or have to wait until i receive the receipt? Please help as soon as you can.

I think the advantage of LLC against Sole Prop is about liability.
If some one sues your business, LLC offers you protection, but Sole prop. may not.
If you are on EAD, you can start the business in your wife's name. Now the risk is that she will run away and take the business with her; can't say that would really be a bad thing.
S-corp is much more complex compared to LLC.

I also got the same message. But it says document mailed and not as Travel Document approved. What does this mean?. IS the AP approved or any RFE on the AP??:confused:

There are so many who missed the July 07...
we should try to seek temporary relief..allowing to file for 485 even without PD veing current.
CIR will happen when it has to happen..maybe after the health bill ...but IV not doing anything else while waiting for it is sad....
Second that! I hope something happens, is there any information as to when the pre-filing for I485 will be implemented.

Just dropped a check for $5. I hope all of the remaining members do the same.
Mailing a check is just as good as a bill pay.
For those who are unaware as to what the "Bill Pay" option is, basically the Bill pay option is a great way to take advantage of your bank cutting a cheque as opposed to you cutting a cheque. That way you can write cheques without having to:
1) Actually write out a cheque
2) Spend money to post it (and take the extra effort to mail the cheque out).
Keep the contributions flowing.

The per country limit was not adhered to even in the 3rd quarter. Remember how EB2 India rose like a phoenix from Unavailable to April 2004? Once they determine that there are enough visas for spillover, the per country limits don't exist. The question is how they decide to distribute it among the retrogressed countries.

It's hard to believe that folks dont know anything about the Green-Card process when they come in. Let us say that you are right on, but they would have eventually figured it out by the end of couple years. I believe it is the situations like layoffs, move from one company to other for better prospects and salary will make them to enter the process late. It is their personal choice and I don't question that. But I believe they had options to apply for GC early in the process and they did not. So why penalize others who did before them. Please don't think Iam saying this because I entered late. I came during early 1998 and I did wait for 4 years to apply.
