Hi,
I just want to know how long it will take to receive the cards after approval because i am planning to move ..
Is it really take 60 Days ?
What is ADIT processing ?
On June 20, 2007, we mailed you a notice that we had registered this customer's new permanent resident status. Please follow any instructions on the notice. Your new permanent resident card should be mailed within 60 days following this registration or after you complete any ADIT processing referred to in the welcome notice, whichever is later. If you move before you get your new card call customer service. You can also receive automatic e-mail updates as we process your case. Just follow the link below to register.

I appeared for h1b stamping at new Delhi us embassy. VO kept my passport and forms for admin processing. VO told me it may take 2-4 weeks. they didn't give me any slips ( pink/yellow/green). I am not sure what kind of processing they wanted to do in my case

NSC must have used up all the FY2007 visas...if not and they did not work on the last day of FY2007, then we can conclude that they really don't care if visas are wasted or not.
Do not expect any approval from NSC today....we can only expect automatic uptdates!

Hi,
I recently (a couple of months ago) switched firms. I have a valid H-1B visa stamp from my prev employer (expiring in Aug 2009). My H-1B transfer was approved and I have a valid I-797.
Can I travel to London, for a week's vacation and re-enter with my prev employer's h-1b visa stamp and the new I-797? I've read that this is possible and that folks have done it.
I was wondering if there was any change to the rule or anything I should be aware about.

hey everyone I was trying to download the swift 3d because a pparently it sweems like a cool one but the download trial wasn't accuriable anyway I looged into the net store and checked the full program, it costs about 159$ so I guess I want to download the trial first to give it a try before spending that much amount of money so if any of you know where to donwlaod it just plz post me a message with the title"FOund what you wanted" on your subjectt space.=)

Your passport has nothing to do with you invoking AC21. AC21 is just a way of informing Uscis that you are switching to another job with similar duties, that's all. There's no official form or application to submit.
Just apply for the renewal of your passport as you would usually do. That's all.

Hi, I have a H1B from company A stamped in my passport and it has been expired in sep 2005. I joined company B in march 2004 and I have their I-797 valis till Jan 2008. I am going to India to stamp it on the passport. Is their any issue with this ? I heard that if one is changing the comany, he/she has to stamp the H1B of the new company on the passport within 6 months or so. Please help.

I received my EAD but my spouse EAD did not arrive and it has been more than 2 weeks. The status says Card production Ordered.
I ehard USCIS asks us to anyhow reapply, so should I have to wait untill the 30 days have passed to reapply for replacement ead or can I apply before?. Is there any way the process can be expedited as my spouse has to work on this EAD. Any info is really appreciated.
Also can we work when we have the receipt for replacement card

My situation is: last entry to US with F1 visa as a student. After graduated, got H1 visa, but didn�t leave US during the period.
When filling I485, need to answer the following questions.
1. In what status did you last enter?
For my case, should I fill �F1� here.
2. Nonimmigrant Visa Number, Consulate where visa was issued and issue date?
Does this refer to my H1 visa number? If so, since it is not issued by consulate, how I can answer the last two questions?
Thank you veyr much.

I am planning to port my existing priority date from EB3 to EB2. I just wanted to understand the risk I am taking. Could you people do let me know the impact on my exsting PD(EB3 with approved 140) and future 485.
