My Receipt date for 485 is july 27th 2007 and nebraska is processing applications for this date.
I applied for cross chargeability on 10th March.. Any idea how long before my case is approved? My lawyer has confirmed that its possible and he claims that it should take 4-8 weeks. I wanted to check to see what the experience of people has been so far?

I got my PERM labor approved yesterday, for applying I-140 were can I find the processing dates for I-140? I mean specific to Country? Because, if I go to https://egov.uscis.gov/cris/jsps/Pro...viceCenter=NSC the processing time for "Skilled worker or professional" is April, 1 2008, does this date apply for all? Thanks in advance.

This is the scenario:
1. Husband becomes a LPR this year.
2. Wife still undocumented.
3. Wife was working long time ago, but became a housewife for the past 6 years, so no work.
How would the wife adjust her status under the new CIR if she was not working for the past 6 years?
Would she have to wait until the husband is able to petition her through other regular means?
Any ideas or is it too early to tell how USCIS will issue it's regulations about CIR?

I had talked to IO today and I came to know that I am struck in the security check from past 3years, is there other alternative way to expedite this.

I was just wondering if it's posible to create my own specific 3D form on Swift 3D v2. The kinda one like a sample head given.

Hi,
I need to get my H1B stamped in Mexico. I know there are some agencies which offer a complete package trip to the Mexico US Consulate. Does anybody know some names and contact information?
I am based in Los Angeles and am pretty close to Mexico border. Do they have something in Southern California? Other places are also Ok.

I got my H1-B visa on June 29, 2005 , I came to india on Jan 2009 . From Jan 2009 till now I have been staying in India , bcoz I was taking care of my new born daughter, now she is grown up and now I am planning to start working in US. Right now I got my H4 visa .
I came to know from someone that H1-B filing for this year was over in Jan 2011, so if I need to file a new H1-b , I have to file now and I will be eligible to work after Oct 1 this year. Is it true ? Is it not possible that a company files for a new H1-B under premium processing and I start working after 2 weeks of filing ? I don't want to wait that long(Oct 1) to work , I have few oppurinities coming up where I may get selected.
I have stayed in india from Jan 2009 till APril 2011. Now I am on H4 visa in US. Can I get a extension of my previous H1-B visa filed on June 2005?
I want to work ASAP.

I am planning to travel to Indian in coming months. However, I have a stright outright dismissed CMIT case back in 2007. I got the non convincted case expunged. I got FBI finger print results and they say no records were found. I got BCI from state which states no records were found. Last time , I travelled abroad was in 2006. I have a valid AP.
Do you see any risk of re entrying US on AP?.
Your help is much appreciated as I have to have to be there in India.

I am applying for H4 visa after my recent marriage with an H1B visa holder in USA. I am currently filling out the online DS160 form but stuck at the following stage: "travel information"
In the purpose of trip to USA question: the given options are business, travel or student visas, so i selected the option: "other". On selecting this, the form loads a list of further options in order to SPECIFY: the H4 option (dependent of H1B holder) is not given in this list. The nearest applicable option is "temporary employee H1, H2". When I choose this one, then at a much later stage in the application, in the section titled "temporary work visa information" the form starts to ask information on my supposed employer etc, which is clearly UN-applicable in my case, as I am NOT applying for an H1 or H2 visa. Kindly help me out, on how to proceed with DS160 in such a situation. Waiting for reply with anticipatory thanks. Sadatj.
