Cut-off days not only determine number of applications that can be received at their end, but also the make eligible applications approvable. I think at times when the cut-off date resulted in more approvable cases than USCIS can handle, then they move it back as well.
The # GCs approved is controlled by a quota for each quarter.
So they can accept all the AOS applications and approve all the AOS applications but approve GCs controlled by the quarterly quota.

> Second "IF" this becomes a law and if your I140 application says Advacned Degree/Exceptional Ability then you might have to send additional docs

I understand but i already sent our media drive to 50 different media , i aleady sent multiple faxes , i already sent many many emails but please advise me what more should i do to convince IV core that issues i have mentioned also effect many who are already IV members , i am requesting you to see Text of Webfax is added acoordingly ?

We filed EB2 (Rest of the World) 140/485 on May 18th and 140 already got approved on May 24, 485 is still pending. I also have Eb3 Labor and 140 approved (Dec 2005) and we transfer Priority Date of old EB3 case Sep 2005 of EB3 to EB2. So my question is if this Bill becomes a law then what will happen to my case?

Received an email from CRIS yesterday. They have issued a FRE on my I-485. I can not think of anything. My immigration history is clean, no status issues, ever. I remember submitting all the docs during July fiasco. I am waiting for the actual RFE letter to arrive.

Hi All,
How much time total process takes I think case by case. In my case it took around a year( from request to sponsor Eb2 to I-140 approval (premium processing). I had no perm auditing. I had no RFE on I-140. I filed my EB2 with the same employer.

Does anyone has recently got I-485 approval after porting priority date from earliar EB3 filing.
My I-140 got approved 2 weeks back and based on priority date, I am current. Ny EB3 485 was filed in July 2007.
How long it is taking for I485 to get approved after I-140 approval when the priority date is current.

EB3_NEPA, I'm pretty sure that's how it works. They first use the regular EB3 numbers available.
Black_logs are you ABSOLUTELY sure that they eat into the EB3 numbers? On the Visa Bulletin, they have a seperate entry below the EB3. Just curious if we are getting this Schedule A thing correctly
